this happened a day before my birthday.... lol! i'm just so inspired to write this!

Jealous Leaves
“Ting! 246 on window 4... Again, 246 on window 4...”
He passed by with a girl by his side. And here I sit lazily, waiting for a number. Such heat from that certain star in the morning sky didn’t reach me. The tall buildings of the university blocked such pleasures for the skin. I needed the heat just like a leaf.
“Sir, is this book available?” A friend stood near the bookstore’s open window. Looking up to the trees, that certain ray of light hugged the ceiling leaves and gave them such a vibrant color. The wind that passed through the buildings’ rooftops made them rustle
in glory. In glory of such that made me envious of their delight.
He passed by again. With the same girl by his side, he smiled lightly, slightly looking at my side. I’m not sure, but that moment made me curious. Even I myself wonder why. But, maybe that was just my imagination.
I turned around and found my friends giggling at a joke. But there is something, I just don’t know what, that made me face towards his direction. That moment never made me regret such a random action. When he was walking, the girl before wasn’t by his side anymore. He slowly turned his head... and looked at me with a smile. I had that certain rush of blood flowing through my face that made me give away such a warm smile to myself. That moment made the green leaves jealous of the blush that kissed my cheeks.
