| I wrote this as an assignment in Creative writing. The assignment: We were shown a picture of a bug in the dirt and given five minutes to write a short something about it, using imagery. I imagined a shoe just out of frame. Here it is. - Quote :
- O, the pain thee hath wrought upon me!
Thy foot hath impressed the force of a thousand-
Nay, thirty fold that, of men!
Release thy hold on my weak shell,
O mighty youth.
Facing thy strength, I stand not a chance!
Thy reeking sole hath buried me alive! Hark,
It Crushes me!
I feel my shell
Crack at the force of thy step!
Doth thou have malicious intentions
To mine own life?
I shall die here today, not at thine foot,
But by mine own choice.
I wish not to die at the Hands or feet of thee,
For thou art an unpleasantly infernal wench-beater!
I smell mine own blood,
Gushing out of mine own body.
I curseth thee! May mine blood stain thee!
May thou never be forgiven for this,
Thine murder of an innocent being!
Thou shalt suffer as I have suffered!
Thou shalt die as I shall die!
Look forth to hell, terrible demon,
As Satan himself shall come forth and claim thy soul!
